Fort Pitt was built by the British in the middle of the 18th century on the site of today’s Point State Park, a scenic spot where two rivers meet to form the Ohio. Art, replicas and museum exhibits detail the roles this important military facility played during the French and Indian War, the American Revolution and the early days of Pittsburgh.
