Shirt Quality Guide

YinzerShop Shirt Quality Guide

Three quality tiers to match your style, your budget, and how you'll wear it.

Tier Feel Weight Fit Starting Price
Premium Soft Buttery, smooth Lightweight (4.2 oz) Modern, slightly tailored $27.95
Everyday Soft Soft, comfortable Lightweight (4.5 oz) Classic unisex $22.95
Classic Heavy Traditional cotton Heavyweight (5.3 oz) Classic unisex, roomy $20.95

Premium Soft

Our softest tee — buttery feel, modern fit

The upgrade pick. Made from premium ringspun and combed cotton for a noticeably softer hand-feel right out of the package. This is the tee you reach for when you want to look and feel a little nicer — and it gets even better with each wash.

Best for: Going out, gifts, fans who want the nicest version of their favorite design.

Sizing: Runs slightly more tailored than the Classic Heavy. If you're between sizes and like a relaxed fit, size up.

Everyday Soft

Soft and comfortable, easier on the wallet

The smart middle ground. A soft-feel tee at an everyday price. Lighter weight makes it comfortable in warmer weather while still feeling substantial enough to wear all year.

Best for: Daily wear, layering, building out your Pittsburgh wardrobe without breaking the bank.

Sizing: Classic unisex fit. True to size.

Classic Heavy

Traditional heavyweight tee — built to last

The workhorse. A heavier-weight, traditional cotton tee with the durability you expect from a classic shirt. The 5.3 oz fabric holds its shape, takes prints beautifully, and stands up to repeated washing.

Best for: Yard work, tailgates, weekend wear, anyone who likes a substantial tee with a roomier fit.

Sizing: Classic unisex fit, slightly roomier. True to size, with extra room through the body.

Common Questions

Which tier should I pick?

If price is your main concern, go Classic Heavy. If you want the nicest feel, go Premium Soft. If you're not sure, Everyday Soft is the safe choice that splits the difference.

Does the print quality differ between tiers?

The print process is identical across all three tiers. Designs look great on every shirt — the difference is in the fabric itself, not the printing.

Why do the larger sizes cost more?

Larger sizes (2XL and up) genuinely require more fabric and cost more to produce. We pass that along honestly rather than hiding it in a higher base price for everyone.

Can I see the shirt tier on each product?

Yes. The tier name is displayed near the price on every t-shirt product page. If you don't see it, the product isn't a standard t-shirt (we also sell hoodies, tanks, long sleeves, and more).
