Hailing from the western Pennsylvania town of Johnstown and playing at the Cambria County War Memorial, the Jets were a mainstay in minor league hockey for three decades. They were the inspiration for the movie Slapshot and who Reg's Chiefs were modeled after. The Jets won six league titles during their history and were once coached by future big league boss Bruce Boudreau. While the Jets are long gone, the legacy of minor league hockey in Johnstown continues on today.
This is a faithfully re-created replica of the Jets home white jerseys from the mid-1970s. It matches every detail as best we can using modern jersey production methods, including a replica Johnstown patch on the left shoulder. All stripes and seams are stitched and the jersey dons a fully embroidered logo for all of that true old school hockey feel.
