Pittsburgh is made up of 90 charming and unique neighborhoods. Each of the 90 neighborhoods in Pittsburgh has a distinct personality.

The German immigrants who worked in the mills, tanneries, breweries, and railroads that bordered the Allegheny River inhabited the area, which is now called the Troy Hill neighborhood. There were 100 families residing in Troy Hill as of 1866.
